2. All the food names(vegetables, meat, drinks and others)They are divided into countable and uncountable. We should use measure words when we meet uncountable words.
II Teaching procedures
Step1: Revision
Have you had breakfast in the morning?
What did you have for your breakfast?
Could you speak out as many names of food as possible?
V: cabbages, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, peas, beans, pumpkins, garlic, winter melons, cucumbers, eggplants, corn, mushrooms, lettuce
F: apples, pears, oranges, bananas, peaches, pineapples, grapes, cherries, coconuts, strawberries, lemons, plums, honey peaches, water melons, “Hami” melon, chestnut, olives, Chinese date, mangoes
D: milk, orange, coffee, tea, cola, beer, mineral water(soft drinks)
whiskey, champagne, brandy, Wuliangye, Mao Tai, cocktail, XO(strong drinks)
Meat: beef, mutton, chicken, pork, lamb, fish, duck
Others: hotdogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, dumplings, pizzas, puddings, cakes, noodles, bread, cheese, bean curd, porridge, butter, jam, soup, ice cream, pancake
Write them in two colours:
White: countable a, another, some
Yellow: uncountable a bowl of, a glass of, a bottle of, a piece of, some, plenty of measure words
Ask and answer: What do you have for breakfast/lunch/supper?
Guess what foreigners have? Chinese meal and American meal are different. Ice, water, all the year round salad, hotdog, Fried chicken, rice, sugar and milk
What would you say if you want to ask your friend to eat/drink something?(Would you like…?/Help yourself to…/)
What would you say if you want to eat/drink something?(Could I drink some tea?)
What would you say if you want your friend to eat/drink more?(Would you like another …?)
What would you say if you are full and don’t want to eat/drink more?(No, thanks)

Model: One day Li Jia invited Jill and Bob to his house for dinner. Li Jia was very good at cooking. He cooked a lot of delicious food for his friends. When Jill and Bob learned that Li Jia cooked the food himself, they were very surprised. And they also wanted very much to learn from Li Jia. Li Jia promised to teach them how to cook latyer. They had a wonderful dinner and they enjoyed themselves a lot. Jill finally invited Li Jia to his house next time.

3. Take turns to offer each other the foods in Part 2 in pairs.
