I. Warm-up and review 2 minutes
A song ‘What are these?’ (1.Divide the Ss into four groups and give them different fruit names.2.When the Ss hear the fruit they are named, they stand up and air draw.)

Preview:5-7 minutes 1.A guessing game ‘Are these…?’(1.Cover three different kinds of fruit with three plates beforehand. 2.Ask ‘What are these?’ and ask the Ss to guess, using the structure ‘Are these…?3.Ask the student who gets the right answer to’ touch’ the fruit and change the places of the plates. 2. Word card game of groups of four.(1.If the speaker says ‘Touch grapes’, the student who touches the most quick can get the card; If he says ‘Don’t touch pears.’, the person who touches other fruit the most quickly can get the card. 2.The person who has the most cards are the winners.

教师要指导学生掌握高效的学习方法,消除其心理障碍。记忆单词是英语学习中的大难题。许多学生放弃学习英语也正是因为不能记住英语单词,因此教师在记忆单词上要给以学生更多更好的方法,如教会其利用拼读规律去记忆单词,利用肢体语言帮其加深对词义的理解等等调动学生运用各种感官,在读其音、观其型、释其义几方面培养观察力、记忆力等多种能力,而不是死记硬背。这些方法也都会在记忆的过程中得以总结和提高。因此英语的学习过程同时也是与遗忘做斗争的过程。教师不仅要根据遗忘规律引导学生增强记忆力,同时要培养学生的自觉性和自制力,以坚强意志战胜遗忘走向成功。
