教学过程:
(课前背景音乐: London Bridge is Falling Down. 这是一首简单的英语儿歌,我将本单元主要句型整编成歌谣,将用这个曲调让学生进行练唱。所以课前反复播放有两个目的:一是让学生熟悉曲调,二是用其明快的节奏营造气氛。)
一、教学导入
1、介绍课题,出示本课学习任务。
2、竞赛小组划分:为形成竞争机制,易于进行有效评价,把学生分成纵列四大组。学生每参与一次课堂活动,可为小组赢得1分,得分最多的小组,将有权选代表到台前装饰一个有趣的笑脸(教师在提出要求前在黑板上画出一个不完整的简笔画“脸”,并且列出ABCD四组记分栏)。
合作学习小组划分:前后桌 4人一组
3、以单词猜谜的形式,送出教师为学生预备的第一份“礼物”。
猜谜游戏:内容: I'm a gift. I have three letters the same as “car”. My fourth letter is in “it”. My last three letters are “oon” in the “afternoon”. What am I? 目的:让学生仔细观察并思考他们将会得到什么礼物;并在暗示要得到别人的馈赠,不可能不劳而获。答案:cartoon 。
播放卡通短片。目的:送学生喜爱的 %26lt;Tom and Jerry%26gt;作礼物,借助Jerry的精灵机智,Tom的傻气愚憨,片段的幽默诙谐,调起学生的兴奋状态。并借机提问:Do you think it's interesting? Is it special and creative? Do you like this gift?,引出“一个受欢迎的礼物”可能具备的特征:interesting, special, creative(这些也是本单元的重点词汇)。
二、任务(一):学会建议和评价礼物,畅所欲言( suggestions %26amp;comments about gifts)
1、话题谈论: 师生互动
假设话题:老师妈妈的生日即将来临,老师应为她预备什么样的礼物?对老师所想到的礼物给出建议或评价。 It's my mom's birthday soon. What should I get her for her birthday? I think of many gifts. What do you think of them? Can you give me some suggestions or comments?
话题谈论过程中:依次展示 6幅礼物图片(a camera, a calendar, a scarf, some books, a doll, some flowers包括名词单数和复数两种类型),教师用各种建议性句型提问( Why don't I get her…? Why not get her…? What about…? How about …?…...),引导学生运用英语对礼物进行描述、评价、建议(It's too expensive/cheap/funny/boring…They're not interesting/special/creative…enough. Good idea! That sounds good! She'll like it/them. ……)。
教师做出决定: I decide to get my mom a pet dog for her birthday, because she loves animals very much. Dogs are interesting and special. And they're easy to take care of. (表达时,故意运用了Section B中宠物话题和take care of重点短语。)
评价:评出领先小组,表扬所有积极发表观点的学生。作为奖励,送出第二份礼物: Gift Song 并作为下一个小任务的导入。
2、练唱自编歌曲,总结巩固“建议和评价”句型。
内容 :It's Ann's birthday soon, birthday soon, birthday soon. What should I get her, for her birthday? How about a camera? A camera, a camera? No, It's too expensive! What about a sweater? A sweater, a sweater? No, It's not special enough! Why don't you get her flowers, flowers? That sounds good! |
